I’m so excited to be sharing casts from my first ever mold! This thing took a ton of work, but I created every part of it, from the digital files to the finished products. Because this is my first mold, there are a few minor imperfections on the casts. However, these will be cleaned up on both the fully painted, and the raw cast options before shipping, and are entire imperceptible on finished helmets.
Casts are sized for the average adult-size head (22"-24" circumference head). Fully painted helmets come with a visor installed and a basic amount of padding for the comfort of the wearer. Raw casts come untrimmed and with visor material for the buyer to install after painting.
Due to the nature of resin casting, these helmets can be produced much faster than 3d printed ones. Resin cast helmets will usually ship within 2-3 weeks after ordering.
